We will have our annual special event on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at the Mayflower Club.

The doors will open at 5:00 p.m. to a catered dinner by Yuca’s Catering of Pasadena. Dinner will be from 5:00-6:00 p.m. and served up to you as you arrive. On the menu will be a Taco Bar: Cochinita Pibil (pork) and Pollo ala Yuca’s (chicken), 3-4 mini corn tortillas, pico de gallo, jalapeños, guacamole; chips and salsa, Mexican white rice, pinto beans, cheese, onions, and water. Vegetarians just omit the meat…lots of good food available for all. There will be cakes at the break, but the Mayflower Kitchen will not be serving Hot Dogs during the meeting. The Mayflower Bar will be open all evening.

The film program will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will feature a scene from Pick a Star featuring Laurel & Hardy, Night Owls (1930) and Ladrones (the Spanish language version of Night Owls, 1930). The feature for the evening will be Sons of the Desert (1933).

You do not have to purchase a meal to attend the meeting. If you will not be joining us for dinner, please arrive between 6:00-6:30 p.m. If you are coming for the meal, you must reserve and pay for your meal no later than September 12. Meals will not be available to be purchased at the door.
