The Great Movie Comedians By Leonard Maltin This is a book for fans of all comedy films, not just those of Laurel and Hardy. While only about 10 pages of this book are dedicated to the boys, it does manage to provide a nice - albeit basic - analysis of the team. All films are listed by year in a very brief filmography. However, this same information is provided for some 20 other comedians, from Charlie Chaplin to Woody Allen. A very handy general film reference book. |
