The Complete Films of Laurel and Hardy By William K. Everson Highly recommended: The general appeal of this book is its analysis of each individual film. It begins with several short chapters containing general biographical information. The rest of the book is an expansive filmography, which contains a brief description of each film, followed by commentary and analysis of that film. Minor portions are now out of date, because some of the films that are now available were still unavailable for screening when the book was written. |
