The book serves as a very valuable source, because McCabe received much of his information first hand from Stan and Stan's wife, Ida. In addition to the regular biographical information, there is a great deal of insight into what Mr. Laurel was truly like. Included in the book are the scripts from "The Wedding Party," "Laurel and Hardy Visit London," and "Birds of a Feather." |
